Pretty good finance tracker

I gave Kubera a try to see if it could help me track all my random investments. It does a pretty good job. Linking accounts was mostly easy, a few took a couple tries but it worked out. It's nice to see everything without logging into ten different places. I'm using the Real Estate Valuation feature, and it's neat.

Reliable and consistent

I've been a Kubera subscriber for a couple of years now, and I just renewed my annual subscription. This time, I also started using the Debt and Liability Tracker more actively. It's consistent with my previous experiences; the data aggregation works well, and the interface is easy to navigate. The Real-Time Reporting Dashboard is always up-to-date. I keep coming back because it simply works and gives me a clear, accurate picture of my finances without much fuss. The historical charts are useful for seeing progress over time.

Love this tracker!

Kubera is amazing! I just started using the Net Worth Tracker and it's so helpful to see everything. My crypto, my bank accounts, even my real estate valuation all in one spot. I will definitely keep using this, it's a game changer!

Good value with annual plan

I was looking for a good deal on a net worth tracker and decided to try Kubera, especially after seeing the annual subscription discount. The 14-day free trial was a major plus, letting me test it out before committing. I linked my brokerage accounts and even some physical assets. For the price of the annual plan, I feel like I'm getting a lot of value, especially with features like the Real Estate Valuation and the Multi-Currency Support. It felt like a solid investment for managing my finances effectively.

Easy setup, excellent overview

I just subscribed to Kubera and was really impressed. The onboarding process was straightforward, and I was able to link my global bank accounts and investments without any issues. The Real-Time Reporting Dashboard is fantastic for getting a quick overview of my net worth. I also appreciate the Multi-Currency Support since I have assets in different countries. It gives me a clear picture of my finances that I didn't have before. Support was responsive when I had a question about linking a specific crypto wallet. The Asset Allocation Analysis is a powerful feature too; it really helps me understand where my money is. Delivery of the service itself was immediate, of course, being software.

So I keep seeing stuff about a 'Dead Man's Switch' feature. What even is that, and is it useful?

R Raj 1 month ago
It's basically a way to give someone access to your financial info if something happens to you. Like for estate planning, so your family isn't scrambling to find everything.

Yeah, it's for passing on your digital assets or access to accounts. You set it up so if you don't 'check in' for a certain period, it notifies someone you designate. Kinda morbid but smart.

how does this compare to Monarch Money? I'm using Monarch now and it's okay, but thinking of switching if Kubera is much better for asset tracking.

R Rosa W. 2 months ago
Kubera is way better for actual net worth tracking, especially if you have illiquid assets or like, precious metals. Monarch is more basic budgeting focus.

I moved from Monarch. Kubera handles real estate and weird investments much better. Monarch was good for transactions, but Kubera gives you the whole picture more accurately.

Is it safe to link all my bank accounts and investment platforms to this thing? Like, should I be worried about my data?

M Mia 2 months ago
They use pretty standard encryption and security measures. I've been using it for a while and haven't had any issues.

I had the same concern. Did some digging, and they don't store your actual login credentials, just encrypted tokens to access your data. Seems legit from a security standpoint.

Thinking about signing up for Kubera, but I'm in Canada. Will it still link up with my Canadian bank accounts and investments?

R Rosa Carter 2 months ago
Yeah, I use it in Australia and it links up with my local banks just fine. They seem pretty good with international stuff.

Afaik, they support a bunch of global banks. Should be fine for Canada too, I've seen people mention it. Definitely worth checking their support page if you're worried about a super specific institution though.

I saw some ads for Kubera, but it seems like most of the time these things don't have coupon codes. Anyone ever find one that actually works for a discount?

D Derek 2 months ago
They usually only do referral codes, not like general coupons you can find online. Sometimes partners have them.

I got a small discount once through a podcast promo code, but it was for a limited time. Don't expect to just google one and find it, they're pretty rare.

Is Kubera actually worth the yearly fee? I'm mostly just tracking stocks and some crypto, not a huge portfolio or anything super complex.

R Rosa Patel 2 months ago
For just stocks and crypto, it might be overkill. I use it for real estate and private equity too, which is where it really shines for me.

It really depends on how much detail you want. I found it super helpful for getting a full picture, even with a smaller portfolio, because it pulls everything together. Plus the UI is way better than some others.
